The image archive has existed on the net for a full decade now (yes, that's
right, since the end of 1989), and it is one of the few dragon art
collections on the net with credits to the artists and links to their
pages when available. You may recognize the images and artwork, but do you
know who made them? Not all the images are credited, however; as any
museum caretaker can tell you, the quest of the collection is everlasting.
If you have any info on uncredited images, please contact me.
Please do not use the images within publicly without consulting the artist
for permission. Please respect the rights and property of the artists. Do
not modify the art within without the artist's permission. If you really
want to use something you find here, contact the artist (I have provided
links where available) -- you'd be surprised how generous they can be when
given a little courtesy! Artists are wonderful people with an incredible
gift. Please treat them accordingly, I beg you.
A note of emphasis - none of the dragon images are mine. Most of them I
have permission to use, and the rest I am seeking permission for. You
should not find any TSR or WotC pictures within, for they explicitly
disallow use of the images they own, without exception.
Thank you, and enjoy the museum!
And what's this 'costuming'? Well, the art and craft of making costumes.
Take a look at that background image again, and note the wolf and buck in
the lower left, and the carved 'furry' style rabbit head in the upper
right. I'm particularly interested in the mascot-style kind of costumes.
You know, the full body-and-head who-the-heck-is-that kind of costume.
Though others can be great, too. I'm even building some right now. Go
check it out!
WELCOME
This is my humble web domain. Within its pages, I hope you shall find
something of interest to you. I feel that a web presence is justified by
utility, at least for me -- for I am happy when I feel useful. So go
surfing, and if you like what you find, just let me know. I would be most
pleased.

Description
Here there be Dragons
My personal passion that many share to some degree, dragons within are
found. Mostly images at this stage, though stories and histories and
discussions will someday populate this place. Contributions towards this
end are happily welcome by email.
Furry & Costuming
What is 'Furry'? And what is 'costuming'? The answers
within are found in detail, but take a look at the background image, and
the decoration of the graphic up there. You see a fox humanoid creature
(named Bausparfuchs, borrowed from the © Schwäbisch Hall bank of
Germany). You see a rabbit humanoid creature (named Bugs Bunny, © Warner Bros.). A coyote looking
creature (named Wile E. Coyote) in the upper left part of that image. And
a dragon (named Rooth, © Me, with art by Karena Kliefoth) in the
lower right area. These are examples of 'Furry' creatures. Just a plain
ol' rabbit would just be furry, not Furry. Confused yet?
Credits
Imagine if you took the time to give credit to every person, book, movie,
tv show, commercial, and sunset that had an affect on your life. Well, of
course you can't do that, but when building a web page, it's a bit easier
to keep track of who contributed what. In this section, you'll find
credits to all the people and sites who, knowingly or not, contributed to
the construction of these pages. (let us not forget www.html.com).
Whenever you see a dragon like
this, read the text near it and you will find some credit
given for something on the page. Or, if there is no text, just click on
the icon. It may not always be that color (depending on the background),
but it will be that shape. :) On that note:
Links & Rings
Now what good would a website be without a section dedicated to related
links and rings. Here you'll find an index of every link used within these
pages, as well as some rings of web pages like this one (one of those rings
may have even brought you here!), and maybe even some other links as well
that just didn't find their own little place within this site. Maybe just
stuff I thought was neat. I'll try to keep it organized, so that it can be
as useful to you as it is to me!
Personal
This section is all about stuff that's related to me, the author. Friends,
personal interests, personal facts, my resume, my thoughts, a collection of
quotes, and all sorts of pictures of me, my dragon collection, my plush
collection, my friends, my car, my apartment ... I love images, if you
couldn't already tell. ;)
