The Las Vegas crash of '96
It was a 1996 Toyota Corolla. The airbag did the most damage to me of anything I've ever been damaged by -- I had an abrasion on my chin that took 2 days to heal completely (neosporin is /amazing/). Oh, and a seatbelt welt, but that's not from the air bag. ;) The other three people in the car had somewhat more in the way of bruises, but nothing serious.
I fell asleep, y'see, and was rudely awakened by reflectors flying over the hood. It's good that I woke up, though, as we were just then about to go over an unprotected overpass.
The pictures were taken with a Polaroid, and scanned by a friend of mine down in Colorado Springs.
